*New clients must book the 30 or 60 minute assisted swim before booking an unassisted session, even if your dog already knows how to swim. This allows a staff member to ensure your dog is comfortable with our ramps and can swim safely at our facility. It also allows us to show you around the facility, answer any questions, and inform you of our “pool rules.”
guidelines for Swimming
We recommend all owners consult their veterinarian before beginning an exercise program, such as swimming with your dog.
Current rabies vaccination required.
Puppies must complete the parvo-distemper vaccine series.
Please do not feed your dog 3 hours before your swim session.
Brushing your dog at home prior to swimming is appreciated.
Swimming, showering and drying must be completed within your appointment time. If drying is an important factor to you, please consider the 60 minute swim appointment.
See FAQ for more information.
All swim sessions are by appointment only in order for us to give you the best service possible.
Pool Rules:
Please review; you will be required to sign these terms and conditions prior to your first swim.
1. All swimming sessions must be paid for on the day of the swimming session. A cancellation fee of $30 or $60 (for 30 or 60-minute appointments, respectively) will be charged if an appointment is broken or canceled without a 24-hour notice. Assisted dock diving appointments that violate this policy must be paid in full. This fee must be paid before the next swim session. Paws to Swim reserves the right to cancel future appointments for those who fail to pay this fee or violate the cancellation policy more than three times in a 6-month period.
2. A surcharge of $30 will be made for dogs that defecate or vomit in the pool, as we will have to temporarily close the pool in order to properly clean it. If your dog has an accident, please notify staff immediately. This surcharge must be paid in addition to the regular session fee.
3. No people are allowed in the water without the authorization of the management of Paws to Swim.
4. Paws To Swim requires your dog to be up-to-date on their Rabies vaccination. Dogs with infectious or contagious conditions (skin, eyes, gastro, kennel cough) will not be allowed to use the facility until cleared by a vet. Exceptions to our cancellation policy may be allowed, but will be made on a case-to-case basis.
5. Dogs must be kept on a leash unless during their scheduled time in the pool area or in an exercise field. All dogs must be accompanied by their owner at all times. We have a three-strikes policy that will result in not being welcomed back.
6. Owners and their dogs must be out of the pool room to allow the next client to begin their session on time. Post swimming activities (showering, drying, etc.) must not interfere with other clients.
7. It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dogs while on the premises.
8. Paws to Swim cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or personal property while on the premises.
9. I understand that participating in a dog swim session is not without risk to myself, my dog, members of my family or guests who may attend. I hereby waive and release Paws to Swim, their employees, property owners, volunteers, owners, members, etc. from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog, family or guests may incur, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while participating in any swimming sessions or any function while on the grounds or the surrounding area or other location thereto.
